Terms of Service

Please read carefully. Basket is software for tracking and copying public, on-chain portfolios. It is not a broker, exchange, custodian, or investment adviser, and nothing here is financial advice. Digital assets are volatile and you may lose your entire deposit.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Basket website, application, and related services (together, the "Service") operated by Basket Labs ("Basket", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction. The Service is not offered to persons in jurisdictions where access would be illegal.

2. What Basket does

Basket lets you view publicly available, on-chain "baskets" (curated sets of token weightings published by creators) and to mirror those allocations from your own self-custodied wallet. We do not take custody of your assets, execute discretionary trades on your behalf, or guarantee any outcome. All transactions are initiated and signed by you.

3. No financial advice

Content on the Service — including creator baskets, theses, weightings, returns, and any figures shown — is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Creators are not vetted as advisers. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own research and decisions. Do your own research.

4. Wallets, fees, and on-chain risk

You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, keys, and seed phrases. We can never recover them.
The Service may charge or facilitate protocol fees (for example, a copy fee or exit fee) that are disclosed at the time of the transaction. Network/gas fees are set by the underlying blockchains, not by us.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Bridging, slippage, smart-contract bugs, and network congestion may cause loss. You accept these risks.

5. Creator content

Creators are independent third parties. They are responsible for the baskets and content they publish. We do not endorse any creator or basket, and we are not liable for creator content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; manipulate markets or engage in fraud; attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or infringe the rights of others.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basket and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, assets, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
